I’m surprised that the team of Subriel Matias didn’t have a rematch clause in the contract. They dropped the ball.

Look at Kambosos. Haney had to beat him twice in Australia before he could move on.

That's the key word, unstoppable, yeah, true.
How can PBC fans hate Eddie Hearn for all the moon and stars he gave to Haney, who PBC/TMT Floyd had zero interest in signing? Haney would be nothing today without Eddie Hearn. And while others like Teo, Loma had to go through the eye of needles fighting better names, Hearn provided Haney with names nobody had heard before, then retired Gamboa, Linares, Diaz who got beat by everyone he fought.

Haney is only a money fight in Australia because he beat Kambosos twice. Australian fans would buy tickets in the hope of seeing Haney spanked.

Top Rank were interested in Haney enough to go out and sign Sandor Martin

If you a professional athlete and your working life is limited, you go for the most money and/or the most kudos - ideally both. Therefore, you select other champions who are popular and will bring the belt and audience to the table. Matias does not bring either. Waste of time talking about it.
You may have only posted 5 times, but I agree 100%. A rematch now? Silly talk.

Why is it "sportsmanlike" to rematch a guy you beat soundly? This is entitlement and also how belts get held up forever.

We want new fights; I can go online and replay it if I want to watch it again.

or Top Rank underbid on the Haney fight figuring he would drop the belt. Sandor Martin gets a shot at the vacant belt. Shifty move by old Bob.

Nooo we’ve already had Haney twice here and they were average fights. Somehow get teo, aussies will be familiar with him after the Kambosas fight and he can play the villain in the lead up. Don’t see Paro Haney doing more than 10 thousand here, teo should be able to double that.
