At first, Canelo swore he wouldn't fight Crawford because he's too small. Then, after being lambasted for refusing to fight Benavidez, Crawford is suddenly a good option? Bud's bulked up to SMW, but he has never fought in that class, while Alvarez has fought at the weight for 5 years. Canelo...

I think he means that Thurman is actually pretty intelligent, and people hate on him for it. I don't agree with that. Sure, he shows some intellect, but who would actually hate on him for it? Nah, they hate on him for not doing anything for years, yet talking like he's still the man, which he never...

I don't hate the guy, but I do feel that he wasted his best years. Yes, he was injured, but he also dropped out of sight, got married, and stayed out of the ring for years. And yet, he still talks like he's a contender who never really left and can come back at any moment to challenge the top guys....kiaba360 likes this.

Paulie "Hands of Glass" Malignaggi, saying Barrios sucks and old Manny can beat him. Why don't you get in the ring with Mario, Paulie, and show us just how much he sucks?

I can't believe that we're having a conversation about Manny staging a comeback. He must have spent a lot of his own money on politics....Tatabanya likes this.

I give credit to Deontay Wilder for taking up boxing, to care for his daughter who was born with spina bifida. He may not be the best boxer, but he's a heck of a dad....billeau2

Joshua fought good, exciting fights, against good, exciting fighters. Sure, he's lost some fights, but those losses were not against bums, and two were vs arguably one of the ATGs of this era. People who shit on AJ, DKSAB....BoxOfficer

There are definitely levels to this sport. One cannot half-ass it and expect to somehow remain at the top....Bennyleonard99 likes this.

Nah, at least Fury actually fights opponents who can beat him. Cantnelo won't knowingly go near a real threat....

Welcome back, Mula! Well, of course, Fury's sore, he's a formerly undefeated giant whose only losses came at the hands of a man he called a MW...twice!...

Wilder was never a big money draw. People say that Deontay originally picked Fury because he was away for three years drinking, eating and drugging, which is true. But the other reason is so he could finally get a big payday. AJ has always been a big draw and will be such until he retires....BoxOfficer

^^^^This right here. Wilder did learn something, and it took him from the Olympics to winning a championship belt in the pros. I think his problem is that he started boxing at 20 years old. So, while Jay Deas was able to train him in the fundamental skills of boxing, those skills didn't become second...

That's a great point! Wilder may have lacked fundamental defensive skills and technique, but it does take some kind of skill and technique to be able to time an opponent, then throw and land a haymaker. Otherwise, he'd just be swinging at air and leaving himself open for counters....billeau2 likes this.

Nope, you tried to present a poll that judges KO power in relation to the level of competition. If you want to start a poll that calls out which fighter has the greater skill, you should do that. But in this case, that would be too easy, so you had to throw in the level of competition to support your...billeau2 likes this.

Your poll is skewed, daggum. The title asks who was the bigger puncher, but the criteria for the vote is vs top 10 opponents. Everyone knows that Wilder's skill set was inferior to Inuoe's, which is why he was carefully matched for years. However, Deontay's punching power cannot be denied. If he landed...billeau2 likes this.
