At the O2 Arena in London, big hitting Croat Alen 'The Savage' Babic (11-0, 10 KOs) went the distance for the first time in his career, as he handed Poland's Adam Balski (16-2, 9 KOs) the second defeat of his career with a ten round unanimous decision. (photos by Mark Robinson)
With the victory, Babic picks up the vacant WBC Silver bridgerweight title.

The fight started off with a bang when Balski clipped Babic and sent him down. Babic would rally like a savage as the rounds played out, with Balski standing his ground to fight in very wild exchanges.

At the end of the ninth round, Balski lost a point after he clipped Babic with a hook after the bell. The punch badly hurt Babic and had him momentarily out on his feet. Babic was still hurt in the tenth, managed to regain his wits after a few minutes and brawled with Balski to the final bell.
