Get him off the leash as soon as possible. I thought his next opponent would be someone we have heard of at least. Somebody is his camp is obviously being too cautious. I am not sure what he is going to learn from a guy who was starched by Murat inside two rounds.

Ease him into fights. He got the popularity. After this win. It's time to start beating down on the old has beens champs and contenders. Maybe Wilder, Dillon, Andy Ruiz, then take that next step up.

Add Jarrell "Drug Cheat" Miller to your list of Itauma opponents? Jared Anderson?

Yeah, I like him. But I do like them taking their time. There truly is no rush. HW division is not deep, and when Usyk moves on (as I think we all expect him to soon), the titles will fall to the best of what is the rest. Itauma will have his pick of the litter. Let him have this throw away fight, than move him up to some names. By mid 2026 or so he will have the chance to stamp himself the guy to beat.

Put him in with Richard Torrez. Battle of the Never-Ending-Prospects.

He's only 20 and his amateur career wasn't very deep, I have no problem with him taking another year or two to develop, when he gets to world level he needs to be ready.

We don't get constant articles about Bakhodir Jalolov stepping up and he's ten years older than Itauma and a double Olympian.

Yeah, don't forget, let's add Tyson Fury, Zhang Zillie, Joseph Parker, Usyk, Dubois, Chisora, and while we're on contenders, why not add Jared Anderson and Richard Torres as someone else mentioned. Should be no problem. If only they could summon the ghost of Ali as well.
