My trainer always said that if I am to weight train, its only after a practice and that I should do stretching and relaxation exercises after every set.

If your going to lift weight's do it after boxing. or on a different day so you'll get more out of your workouts. If u do it before boxing theirs a good chance it'l hinder your boxing performance

Do it on a different day, or if you train twice a day, in a separate workout.

Personally, I weight train an hour, maybe two after my boxing, I never do it before.

And as PunchDrunk said, training to failure is not a good choice, although I don't think you (Danny) actually mean FAILURE. And Domain, 'juicing' would not include taking glutamine... you're body makes glutamine itself all the time... If protein powder is part of 'juicing' than I'm a roid head too... And no you don't need 25g of Whey Protein after a workout or some ****. Honesly, I usually have some after I train, but it's certainly not need, depeding on your diet and million other things.

I agree with your basic sentiment regarding glutamine and protein powder. But the "your body makes glutamine itself" argument just doesn't hold water. The body makes testosterone as well, yet that is certainly juicing!

Again, I agree with you, but using faulty logic isn't helping your case.

Hmm, you know what, very good point. Well that's an embarrasing fault. Haha, gah, it's Saturday, I get the day off from playing cell biologist...
