The level of your sparring partners?

I was just wondering after reading a few threads that I've seen.

I'm a few fights away from being open class... But I've always sparred open class fighters...

I wanted to know What everyone else was doing.

The least skilled person i spar is an 7-5 heavyweight(Fights at 201+).

it ranges after that.. the most skilled *(besides the 2 pros)* is this 3 time Florida state champion named Irving from gainesville florida. but he's only like 152 so i only spar him to learn about dealing with speed.

    What about you guys?

i honestly think the level of sparring partners makes all the diffrence,

you see people post vids on here that make you think looks so slow and and no effort at all and they tap each other and then they tell you that the guy thier sparring is world amature champion this or whatever....its rubbish

gyms that spar good and hard are always the best and always devolep the best fighters, ive seen you spar before and it looks intense and godd sparring which is what you want,
some gym dont prepare thier fighters for what is to come.

        slightly off topic but anyway...

Best dude i've sparred is a world class kick boxer Brad Fowler and I gave him all sorts of trouble just because he's much smaller than me, and kickboxers cant box for ****. I did a lot of sparring with this one guy with an extensive amateur backround, Frank Abbiw. He's 1-2 as a pro now because of one robbery and a bad decision to fight a natural middleweight at 154 when hes a natural light welterweight.

I usually sparring with professionals, because ni my gym they dont really keep guys in the amateurs that long, the most skilled i would say julio cesar miranda and michael medina, julio cesar its really good but he is a much lighter than me, but he still kicks my ass doesnt really hurts but he is really good, i have sparred michael plenty of times but i am usually his second sparring partner so i just try to push him to his limits. Check their record if u want they are doing really good. Plus you will see they fight in arena el jefe wich is the arena of my gym El Jefe Gym in monterrey mexico

my usual sparring partner its a heavyweight amateur who has a mexican national champ sounds impressive but there is very little activity in the heavys in mexico but he is still really good he is 22-2, and every hit he connects on me i feel like he is squeezing the life out of me hahaah.

Also my coach makes us train double in everything so my gym its not 3 mins on and 1 off its 6on and 30secs off so most sparring are between 2 to 4 rounds of 6 mins.Hahaha tough as hell but it works
Oh yeah and I spar mondays and fridays most of the time, i am a middleweight by the way.

I also sparr newbies from time to time just to help them overcome their fear, i am not really the kind of guy that gets hot headed so i am cool with em.

good thread man.. ill give this 5stars..

but ya im 0-0 still, been sparring since january of this year...
i spar all range of fighters, from open class guys , to novices and subnovices, and even a successful pro.
records range from guys with over 30 wins 8 loses , tough kid i always spar whos had like 10 fights, younger then me, i dont get to see a lot of them as often, but its pretty good sparring, ages range, weights range, styles range, i get good sparring in for my situation.
