Lovely subject! Urine thats anything darker than a light straw colour indicates partial dehydration (there may be other factors such as infection etc but usually dehydration!). When I'm training I dont like to see anything like a deep yellow unless I've taken a vitamin B suppliment which does change the colour of urine. So drink more water if your urine is noticeably yellow. I once read that a 2% drop in hydration for an athlete roughly equals a 5% drop in performance (I think it was a lucozade flyer), so keep your fluid levels up.
As for the other 'waste' product, athletes who are training hard often report light coloured stools that float, this is not normal for non training people. The reason for this is that the body takes more from your food than it would if it were not being trained, obvious really. I would recommend a small iron suppliment or plenty of green leafy veg to keep the body's iron up. It helps to combat fatigue, people with amaemia benefit greatly here.
Your piss should be clear to light yellow. That means you are hydrated. A trainer once told me, if you feel thirsty it's too late, your already dehydrated. You should drink water all day, at least 8, 12oz glasses to be fully hydrated and ready when you work out.
I haven't started boxing yet (i want to), but I've been training for various reasons most of my life... I try to drink 96 ounces of water a day on average, and my pee stays pretty light, but rarely clear (unless I just chug 32 ounces and then have to piss real fast)...
