Don't get me wrong, I swear by Winning gloves. Best gloves in the business in terms of protecting your 21's. lol (your hands)
But 300 bucks is alot if your just gonna workout a couple times then quit. I say go for it if you want to get into boxing the sport. Not just a quick workout.

Most of the people who have Winning stuff (and I'm not talking pros or serious amateurs) just get it to show off how much money they have and because they hope people will think they are good boxers just because they have the best gear.
I had problems with my hands. Did I pay $300 for a pair of the best gloves available? No I paid $80 for a good pair of gloves and then put a piece of sponge inside my wraps for extra protection. Hand problems solved.
