Are any die hard xbox fans boycotting the new box?

    Are any die hard xbox fans boycotting the new box?

    I just found out that you can't play 360 games on the new Xbox and theres no plans to redeem this at all..

    I was very keen on buying the new Xbox one even after all the other crap like microsoft concentrating on Tv,skype and voice activated crap not to mention that you can't borrow games or sell any with this code feature

    I remember when the 360 was released the first model for about a year was commonly sent to Germany for repairs and I can see the same thing happening especially with the kinect built in and such..I hope for whoever buys it that it has a decent cooling system

    I also read somewhere (I can't find the article) that the reason is itsn't reverse compatable is because this isn't supposed to replace the 360 in the home which is the main thing thats putting me off


    I personally think Microsoft are shooting themselves in the foot and the main people they are screwing are loyal Xbox customers like myself... I have a few 360 games thats I'm not finished with and i wasn't planning to finish anytime soon but I want to eventually get into them and with this new xbox coming out this year I previously planned getting rid of my xbox 360 and just keeping the games i wasn't done with...I'm not having a 360 and a chunky Xbox one sitting beside my tv at the same time


    I'm done with microsoft from now on,looks like the way forward is the PS4 but I'm not too keen on that either

      No actually you'll be able to play PS3 games through ******s down the line , do your homework ,bro

      Sony is obviously looking into keeping the loyal fans happy

        so is it backward compatible or not, can i put my ps3 games into ps4 and play them or do i have to buy the games from steam and download to ps4, i think xbox one doing that as well but not sure.

        PC stays winning lol

          I understand Nintendo having fanboys why are people so loyal to Sony?

          I will probably pick up less the expensive system down the line when price drops and games stop being released PS3/360

            Stop crying...Ask yourself. How much will you really get for a used 360? Barely nothing. Second ask yourself, how often do you play the original xbox games on the 360? Or better yet any older games? 3rd the xbox 1 will have used games, they just have some thing were if you want to install it, you have to buy a patch. And what's wrong with a system that can do anything? Blueray, live tv, internet, voice command, motion gesture command, control command, I mean why do fans cry all the time

                I never play original xbox games but that's because the advancements from the original xbox to the 360 were gargantuan, graphically and most likely the gameplay of these news games on the one don't look like that big a leap to me ,I doubt you'll even be able to tell the difference that much...

                I think the ps3 games you have you'll be able to install and play aabitvyou won't be able to with the box

                Last but not least I'm. Not moaning because I want to sell my box for cash I'm just not going to be finished with it and I don't want two big consoles sitting in my playing room ******o.

                  Nah i'm not boycotting for a few reasons

                  1. Always on or whatever is not an issue for me, my 360 in on live 24/7 and i never had connection trouble

                  2. Backwards compatibility is again not an issue as i keep all my consoles

                  3. used games again not an issue as i only buy new games, paying $5 less for some cum stained manual and scratched disc is not worth it.

                  So no i'm not "boycotting" but that said it will need to have some good games to garner my interest

                  I am more loyal to microsoft as i like to support the western gaming industry rather than japan, but i'll get the ps4 first if it has the better games(ill get both long run anyway)

                    I bought the ps3 at launch as it was the first console I could afford to buy at launch and am a sony fan.
                    That being said I am buying neither of these at launch and will wait on games/price after 4-6 months after launch to make a decision.
