    Do you play WoW?

I tried it out "officially" last year this time. I played for about 2 and a half months and wasted the rest of my subscription time. Partly due to me not enjoying the lvl 90 Boomkin gameplay, sort of. I just didn't get hooked on it like I thought I was gonna be. Haven't touched it since.

I never reached actual end-game I was still grinding for gear, never did a raid, just dungeons (I believe they're called). Recently my older cousin told me he got back into it by trying the WoD expansion 10 day trial. Anyone on BScene playing this long lasting MMO?

I played EQ or Everquest which was the big MMO prior to WOW, played it for a long time. If you didn't raid you really didn't play, that is pretty much the end game and most challenging content were there is really no room to **** up.

You have to like the accomplishment for your character to really enjoy the genre. It is not even like playing a game it is a hobby would be how I would describe it.

That is from someone who played a long ass time, and have been away a long time to look back on it.

I was a Diablo 2 player back in the day. I think WoW is actually pretty interesting, I just don't know why I didn't get hooked. But I was pretty addicted the first month... had me playing so long I felt like I was melting when I stepped into the sunlight.. just never got addicted like I thought I would.

I just don't know if I want to invest my time into WoW, I know it will steal my soul.

I played it on and off from May 2010 towards the end of 2011, resubbing for a month or two in Mists of Pandaria (Sept 2012) to check out the new expansion because tbh, the beginning of each expansion is THE best time to play WoW. You have loads of new content for a month or so, levelling, getting new gear, new bgs/arenas potentially, new dungeons and new raids.

I've never been a big fan of Druid DPS PvE, Moonkin was solely a AoE DPS when I played last properly in Firelands. It just didn't appeal to me in PvE, in PvP though, feral was pretty cool to play...a very fun class which required a fair amount of skill to play properly (outside of the open out of stealth with a ton of bleeds and face roll). I played Rogue, which ****** at the beginning of Cata and MoP I believe. It's one of those classes which picks up the longer the expansion runs for because of haste not being an issue and agility scaling well.

I had a GREAT time playing, met a bunch of cool people in the game, had some memorable times in game which I still remember. Best achievement would be, clearing BwD/BoT/Al Akir (sp?) normal and some on HC. Would have got to Ragnarok but I quit due to focus on exams and was pretty much burnt out by that point anyway, couldn't find a guild that raided once a week that was good so I just quit.

Lvl 70 enhancement shaman. I played for 2 years straight during The Burning Crusade, easily the hay day of WoW.. The game has never been the same since. Played on Kil'Jaeden pvp Bloodlust Battlegroup/BG9.. Hands down the toughest pvp in the game at the time. I completed all of the endgame, had all the raid gear with the exception of a trinket I really wanted. But pvp was my thing and I got Brutal Gladiator in 2v2 and 3v3

Great and highly addicting game. Easily the GOAT of the genre. I wish I had spent two years straight lifting and making money but I can't change the past and I really enjoyed my time playing. The only drawback to WoW is that you can't be a 'serious' player and have top tier items unless the game is literally your job.

HAHAHAHAHA Shadow knight at level 50, but I was a warrior from day 1 on E'ci which ****** back then. In the end being a warrior paid off, that was some fun stuff at the top end, but when you become a top guy the game becomes like a job because people need you to be there.
