Why the Term ‘JEDI’ Is Problematic for Describing Programs That Promote Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

The Jedi are inappropriate symbols for justice work. They are a religious order of intergalactic police-monks, prone to (white) saviorism and toxically masculine approaches to conflict resolution (violent duels with phallic lightsabers, gaslighting by means of “Jedi mind tricks,” etc.)

Lol the wife has been bitching about this when she heard about it yesterday. Yeah she's a star wars fan.
These people can't seem to help but want to change everything.

They made the lead Jedi female, and added a main character who's black

Yet they still want to keep bitching

These people just hate their lives lol.. No way around it

Also the type of people who act like the world is against them.. and the country sucks and keeps them down and is responsible for their failures

Especially the younger ones.. spoilt.. pampered.. never had life without the internet.. to be fair only my early childhood/teens was without internet or we had crappy AOL dial up but still..

I can't imagine anyone in the older generations 40+ looking at these generations and not thinking WTF happened

IF you have time to find issues out of stuff like this (pronouns/Jedi crap etc).. sorry to say.. your life aint that hard..

That article was written by FIVE people: J. W. Hammond, Sara E. Brownell, Nita A. Kedharnath, Susan J. Cheng, W. Carson Byrd.

You'd think they were writing the Magna Carta. And what they wrote is all waffle, no substance. I bet they all slapped each other on the back after writing it and imagined themselves saviours of the universe. Smug, out of touch libtards.

The racists here on this site, it'll be funny to see them repeat this now. They never mentioned Jedi's were racist but maybe they will now.

Missing white girl syndrome or whatever that's called, I've never heard them mention it, but all of a sudden someone says it on MSNBC, and I see they mention it here lol
