    [REAL TALK] Narcos is ending

Been a hell of a ride. From the first two seasons about Pablo and the Medellin Cartel (that guy who played Pablo was awesome), to the Cali Cartel -- and then to the Mexican Cartels (which then the series became Narcos Mexico), man it's been fun. But this upcoming season, that I believe releases in early November, will be the last one.

Apparently they're going to bring it up to the 90's. And then when this season concludes, that'll be all she wrote.

Anybody else a big fan of the series? I loved it.

    I love that show.

thought they should have had 3 seasons of pablo , 1 season of cali ,and 4 season of mexico. The last 2 seasons should have been snow fall type . The story of the US govt selling drugs to its own people to fund a gorilla war in central america .

I've always wanted to watch this show, but I've always held back because it's made by Netflix and most of their content is woke trash. Is it really as good people say it is? And as a new watcher, which one to watch first?

I highly recommend it. I agree that Netflix (along with every other ******ing platform for that matter) is all about being woke these days, but Narcos really follows the actual events pretty damn accurately. It's pretty impressive. The first two seasons are focused on the Medellin Cartel, the third is on the Cali Cartel, the fourth focuses on the true life story of DEA agent Kiki Camarena and the birth of the Mexican cartels (starting with the Juarez Cartel). In the last season they showed a young (and rising) El Chapo coming up the ranks.

Start with the original "Narcos". Season 1. Then watch it through season 3 (if you're still liking it enough to stay with it). Then after season 3 of "Narcos", you'll have to go to "Narcos Mexico", because Narcos Mexico is its own kind of spin off series -- but essentially it's season 4 (although it does backtrack into the timeline).

I would just watch a few episodes of season 1 and see if you're still into it or not. One disclaimer though: there is a lot of subtitle reading. All of the seasons take place in Spanish speaking countries, so naturally that's going to be the dominant language.

They actually did get into that a little bit but not nearly as deeply as Snowfall. Love Snowfall also by the way. I just got through season 3.

I loved the two original Narcos seasons with Pablo Escobar, but lost interest after that and didn't watch the following ones. Are they any good?

It was tough to transition after Pablo, because he was such a phenomenal character, but yeah I still ended up loving the other seasons. I thought they were all A+ level stuff.

Good show. I hope this next season highlights the gang violence this caused in California in the late 80s and early 90s.
