        Boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, Wrestling

BJJ is generally easier on your body (fewer takedowns and slams) so might be easier at your age

I'd go to a boxing gym

        **** getting leg kicked regularly

Like anything, the more you do it the more you learn. Try joining a gym that specializes in any form of fighting which you desire to learn.
I started going to the boxing gym in my early teens, did sparring with all types of people at every level. Make sure it's a respectable gym like the one I attended. Everyone looked out for others, no one was trying to pummel you and show off.

Boxing imo an amateur gym that makes you spar often

Man I got my azz beat in sparring and dished out beatings too

Spar hard to mimic real fights and fists coming at you in real time

If you dont want to go to a gym or nothing too drastic, get a punching bag and train your fists. Knowing when and how to punch properly makes all the difference so start with the form.. id start with that and jogging.
