'Devil nurse' who murdered seven babies under her care sentenced to life in jail

One of the most shocking crime cases in UK history has reached its conclusion today. Nurse Lucy Letby murdered 7 newly born babies on her ward and tried to kill more. Hospital managers ignored doctors concerns about the nurse and even ordered one of them to apologise to her for making 'accusations'. Letby has been sentenced to a whole life order which means she will die behind bars.

from what ive read, the hospital administration needs to be charged.

i heard they charged one head nurse but it was an entire administrative team that totally disregarded other nurses and mds warning about this serial killer.

seems like this case is being swept under the rug over at the UK...

Nothing unusual about this as far as the NHS hierarchy are concerned. Pretty much unaccountable, they ignored SENIOR consultants concern about this murdering b*tch.
There will almost certainly by a public inquiry, but the outcome is a forgone conclusion, expect another whitewash.

What happens to you if you work in the private sector and you are shown to be incompetent at your job? Or you are guilty of gross misconduct?
You get FIRED. No pension, benefit's, or 'golden handshake' from your employer, you are shown the door.
Switch to the Civil Service, you are put on paid 'gardening leave' until an inquiry is held (this can take years) you are shown to be useless, inept, incompetent (delete as required)
You end up retiring usually with a very nice golden handshake and a generous pension.

In the case we are discussing those who are shown to be negligent and incompetent should face summery dismissal and loss of pensions, and if there are sufficient grounds to bring criminal charges then do so and press for the maximum prison sentence. Things have to change, but do not hold your breath.
