I’m definitely a poker fan! I mostly enjoy tournaments because I love the excitement of working my way through the field, but I do mix in cash games when I’m feeling like a more laid-back session. As for where I play, home games are my favorite—there’s just something about the atmosphere with friends. I’ve had some decent wins over the years, but nothing huge, just enough to keep me hooked!
I also checked out —Best Online Casinos in Canada 2024, and found some great options for poker. The sites listed there have been solid for me, with fair play and smooth transactions.Last edited by Phacosion; 12-29-2024, 09:54 AM.Mr Mitts likes this.

I play mostly hold 'em because it is what is most available. I prefer Omaha because it is more fun.
Tournaments are a much safer bet because you know in advance how much you can lose. You are essentially eliminated those times when your luck is so bad you might otherwise have stayed in a cash game for a whale of a loss.
House games are definitely more fun because there is no one to censor speech.

Texas hold 'em, Omaha are biggest games. Play a lot of wild card games with the plas like Follow the Queen, etc.Last edited by Mr Mitts; 01-07-2025, 07:41 AM.

The big casinos might keep a sharp around for special circumstances. I was acting up once in a casino big game and I am sure they got sick of me and then I found myself with 8 9 of hearts and a queen high straight flush right on the flop. You can guess what the other player had. It was a short game where the deck would easier to set up. I always felt sure I got cold decked on that one.
