Who cares about a mouthy & racy WNBA person? Resse lost some street credit, with her mouth and play. She wants to be paid like men pro basketball players.
I have an idea. Well -- Geogre Carlin said it. If you bounce the ball off someone's head and it goes in the hoop it's worth 25 points.
Men don't want to see women commit traditional basketball fouls vs. each other, but some fights between the ho's? That might sell a few tickets. The WNBA loses money every year.

Their foul is very catty and Reese even said that they would strike like someone will miss the game being played. Plus she has endorsements and can endure a strike when the other ones can't.
But can her fans endure her being out of action on Strike? That is the question. Institute the George Carlin rule, I say.

Here we go again with the racists who obviously don't know a thing about basketball latching onto Clark for their agenda when she already told you to go fvvck yourselves
No one who watches basketball for the sake of basketball would ever say Clark outclassed Reese when they play two completely different positions and are two completely different players. That's like saying Curry outclassed Giannis if Curry has a good game and Giannis doesn't. What a dumb thing to say.
The Fever did outclass the Sky because they are a vastly better team that really stacked up with their additions this year, while the Sky's front office has a lot of work to do.
That being said, I'll be happy when the New York Liberty smashes the league again! Let's Go Liberty!

For example, Jokic and the nuggets beat the clippers in the 1st round, the talks and headline goes Jokic and the Nuggets were too just much for Kawhi and the clippers to overcome.

Clark's game and Reese's game don't match up the same way, and there is a huge difference between their teams at the moment. Clark's team is expected to challenge for the championship. Reese's team isn't.
To me, "outclassing" someone means you are going head to head vs. them. A team might outclass another team. Curry might outclass Dame Lillard if they are caught in isolation a bunch of times. But to say Curry outclassed Wembayama -- that would be a very strange assessment.Last edited by travestyny; 05-18-2025, 09:12 AM.

Her offense last year was terrible. She's more of a rebounder and put back type. It's like saying Curry outscored Rodman. You would expect as much.

I know Reese is not a scorer, but it's how she can contribute to her team in ways to make the team better. Just like when Reese has a game with 20 rebounds, the Reese fans would say "Caitlin Clark could never"...
It's clear to me that Clark's team outclassed Reese's team, but it wasn't a head to head thing for them so in my opinion saying one outclassed the other makes no sense. As for them both being leaders....they are both 2nd year players. Clark's position is naturally mentioned as a leadership position. She's the general, but she still has Boston, Bonner now, Mitchell, other players who were in the league before her to help. Who does Reese have? Cordoso, another 2nd year player who she came into the league with? Vandersloot who is probably near retirement? I guess you could call Reese a leader...but she is the leader on a team that to me looks like it will be god awful.
Bottom line for me is, Clark's game is probably most similar to Curry. Reese's game is most similar to Rodman (Rodman was a better shooter to be honest). Now if a Rodman led team ever played against The warriors, it would be very odd for anyone to say Curry outclassed Rodman just because they were the leaders. But you are welcome to your own analysis of it.Last edited by travestyny; 05-18-2025, 09:29 AM.
