I suppose for some people they are just trying to add layers to their otherwise boring personalities.

My ex boss loves coke and i watched the wilder fight with him past weekend. I did shtload of coke and havent done it in years.
Im a weed guy and he is a coke guy but I wouldnt judge him. What else are you supposed to do when you are single and have tons of money to spend? We cant be generalizing.
And high quality coke is expensive anyway that’s why rich people are into it. No broke niguh is gonna be able to *** with coke. Thatms why they resort to crack and other junks.
Coke once in awhile is good. It’s good for you.

Ain't a catch all for that shit man, but no-one goes into it thinking it's gonna fuck 'em up for good, do they? Every one of us has that worm of ego saying 'I'm different, that shit's never gonna happen to me'.
No-one really seeks it out either - well, past a point - you do that shit cos it's around you. cos you move in circles where that's what people do and then what? Maybe you're curious to try the forbidden, to push the boundaries or to do the things other folk don't (to your mind) dare, maybe you're desperate or rebellious or seeking approval within a subculture... you got high on a hundred other things and they turned out to not be all the bad things you were warned of so why not one step more? And guess what, both of them, Heroin and Crack... like anything else, are usually fine to begin with. By the time you realise that you ain't so special and you can get hooked just like anyone else, it's a bit late...
EDIT: Also there isn't just 'one outcome' if you're refering to a downward spiral into addiction and chaos, many hundreds of thousands of people have used Heroin and other opiates for pain management - either prescriped or self medicating - without ever becoming addicted or finding addiction particularly difficult to overcome when necessary and there's research that suggests that many more people have used both drugs on a few occasions than ever become problem users by a massive margin... similar to how only a small proportion of alcohol users ever become alcoholics. Addiction and / or habitual use are real deep and complex topics however... ain't sure I got the time to fully expound on here, but I'm more than willing to answer specific questions.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 02-25-2020, 01:41 PM.

It is easier to get high than deal with life day in and day out. The funny thing is that drug eventually becomes their hell.

Same as every other bad decision, peer pressure.
Why do some people enroll in college semi normal and graduate as a bi***ual anarchist with dinner plates in their earlobes?
Why do some teenage girls go from innocent children to knocked up gang**** dumpsters within months of attending their first house party?
Nobody likes to admit to their desperate desire to be liked/fit in, but it's the main reason you see anyone engage in self-destructive behavior.
Hell, is it the only reason? I can't think of any others.Last edited by ////; 02-25-2020, 09:55 AM.
