I dodged a Corona Virus bullet

On March 5th, I visited my sister in West Palm Beach. Our 82 yr old Argentinian cousin Henry (Enrique), who lives in Miami, came up to see us. He had recovered well from brain surgery to drain fluid off his brain. He was in great shape and was doing very well.

There were lots of hugs and kisses. We had dinner together.

On April 5, Henry went into the hospital. 5 days later, he was put on a ventilator. This morning he passed away from the virus.

My sister and I lucked out..another week or two and we would have picker up the virus from our cousin.

May the old lad RIP, condolences...

However you should be more responsible knowing world protocols and news that EVERYONE should refrain from having close contact with the elderly... for god sakes mate that’s a family member.

Instead of you worrying to get it, most whom die are OLD PEOPLE. Many people are asymptomatic and don’t know they’ve had it. For instance you or your sister could have at it not knowing you did, while passing it to your cousin...

LOL I'm 69 and my sister is 73. No one had the virus in Miami-Dade county on 5 March. The first recorded infection was 12 March, and the first death was 27 March, so at that time we were not thinking about a pandemic. Those dates are about the same for the rest of the country ().

Fun fact: Most Argentinians are Italians.
