      I hate running QBs

They're more like small RBs who can throw the ball if they are in trouble.

You're not getting it, check out stud NFL slot receiver Julian Edelman at Kent State.

I think it'll go out of fashion soon enough. These guys won't have career longevity. Cam Newton, first overall, wrecked by injuries, released to free agency. Andrew Luck, less of a runner than others but in the conversation, done by 30. RG3, wrecked in his first season. I'm amazed Russell Wilsons held up this well. Teams will eventually stop wanting to use their 1st round picks on guys you'll only get 6-7 years out of.

They are pretty rare even at the NCAA level. If you need that extra 4 yds, fine.

              Those poor WRs -
''Damn, I'm tired of playing the decoy role......''

Guys playing out of position ?
I'd rather a WR play RB than my QB.

                  You're missing the point.

I'm talking about making this college QB an NFL slot receiver like Julian Edelman who was also a running QB in college.

The thing with running QB's is you aren't expecting to get 14 years out of them.....8/10 then move on.

Not out of position, try.....a new position.

WR's to thin in the ass thighs to play RB.
