Teams will eventually stop wanting to use their 1st round picks on guys you'll only get 6-7 years out of.

They are pretty rare even at the NCAA level. If you need that extra 4 yds, fine.

You're missing the point.
I'm talking about making this college QB an NFL slot receiver like Julian Edelman who was also a running QB in college.
The thing with running QB's is you aren't expecting to get 14 years out of them.....8/10 then move on.
