great white shark vs croc bite force?

if you have to pick between these 2 which one do you think would be more painful?? getting eaten alive by a great white shark or by a giant croc?

The white shark will bite you in half. The Croc just drowns you and stores you for later.

If I remember correctly, a croc has twice the bite strength as a shark. 1600-1800psi vs 700-800psi

A croc has more bite strength, but sharks have sharper teeth, they'll sever arteries and take big chunks out of your flesh. Crocs and alligators typically drown their prey and wait for it to rot, then pull limbs and pieces of flesh from the bone. Honestly, you're f***ed either way if you encounter a hungry and determined 17 foot great white or croc in the water.

Great White Sharks are much bigger and have sharp ass teeth. Ill take my chances with the croc. Also, in the water you are in the sharks territory and basically his battle field. With a croc, they are closer to land where you can run away. You cant run from a great white shark and unless you are Michael Phelps, you dont stand a chance to swim away.

correct me if i am wrong but most shark attack is not fatal though... i know there's been incident where the person got killed but for the most part, the person usually survive the attack. it's usually a curious shark taking a bite and chunk out of a swimmer's leg, etc.

with croc attack, i believe it's all fatal.. once you get in the water with a croc and it attacks you, chances of you getting out of that is very slim. to sum it up, i think most shark attack is out of curiosity while with croc it's not. croc is biting you to kill you, while the shark is biting you to see what you're about.

When a croc attacks it seizes it's prey, gets it in the water and does a death roll. That sheds the body into nice sized chunks it can swallow.

Sharks are generally not a threat to humans. If they want to, it can be fatal. But sharks get along with humans. In fact, shark attacks are by mistake, the shark confuses the humans exposed hand and feet as fish. But we are more of a threat to sharks. We kill millions of sharks a year. And iirc shark deaths per year is something like 0.5 (shark killing humans). Humans killing sharks is a ridiculous ratio, I forgot what it was, but we kill sharks at a ridiculous pace (like we do to most things on Earth).

But the thread scenario puts us in a position where we are somehow dealing with a mad shark who has bitten us. I still dont want that huge thing taking a bite out of me. Crocs are slower, smaller and closer to the humans preferred terrain.

There are two questions posted. One is about bite force. The crocodile has about 3 times the bite force of the great white shark.

The other is about which it would suck more to be eaten alive by. I think the shark would be quicker, and less painful. Unless you are unlucky enough to get a shark that does the whole 'taste' thing first, then for some reason decides to continue.
