    Serious question for US people/voters

Especially those who voted for *****/Hillary.

Did you notice a big uptick in turnout for ***** vs Hillary, with people you know/in your community?

I ask because I feel like *****'s enthusiasm was about as much as Hillary's. And am shocked at the turnout numbers on both sides. At least Hillary had the first woman card angle. And yeah there was a big anti-Trump vote in 2020, but there was a big one in 2016 as well. I didn't sense a big swing in that personally. Seems like everyone who hates Trump now, hated him in 2016 lol.

Just really weird looking at those numbers, and Trump growing his base and getting 8 million votes more than 2016. And then ***** turning out about 8 million more than Hillary too. Just seems crazy to me from a numbers POV.

They made it really easy to vote. I voted like 5 times for ***** and I'm not even a U.S. citizen. Nobody checked my ID.

Lol. I love looking at the numbers when Pres elections come around. In almost every state the numbers were nuts, and especially some counties were interesting. Just trying to see if any of it was legit. Seems fishy to me.

Nobody likes Hilary and she still got more overall votes than Trump. This was no surprise.

Trump was a racist disaster who spit on the mystique of the presidency. He's just an unlikable dude in general, and his horrible COVID response generated an urgency that led to record turnout. The use of absentee ballots made things a lot easier as well.

Right but Trump got 8 million more this time, and no one likes ***** really either. He had no enthusiasm.

20 million more votes this time vs 2016 is no surprise? lol dude

            Did you vote in 2016/2020?

Complete low-IQ take lol. You gotta lay off the MSM and think for yourself bro.

If anyone kept it real on covid, the first thing they would critique is the dumba.ss Dem governors who forced nursing homes to take sick patients lol. Just absolute lunacy

20 million more votes isn't what I said was no surprise. Trump being defeated is no surprise. If you work around people it's easy to see how uncomfortable many are these days

I didn't vote in 2016. This year I did and every one of my family members had their ballots mailed in long ago. They all urged me to vote *****, which I was anyway.

Got ya. How do you feel the sentiment was this year vs 2016? Did they all vote then etc.

I don't know what you meant by the work around people thing lol. But yeah there is a strong Trump base on both sides. Both for and against. I live in the south so most people I deal with like Trump, if we end up getting to that point. Even a lot of people who I wouldn't expect to like him do. Though there are some who surprisingly don't like him too.

Wouldn't have been surprised at all if Trump had lost on election night. With my network of people on Facebook, and just judging the news etc, you know there is a strong anti-Trump crew out there.

But seeing Trump outperform his own numbers in the keys states by hundreds of thousands or even over a million votes in FL and TX, I was just taken aback. And then to see ***** matching him in all those states, I mean I do see where the questions about 'what happened/legitimacy' come from for that reason alone.

When the results pour in, I like checking the county results relative to previous years to see how the state will lean. When the Florida numbers were coming in, I was like wtf is going on lol. Obviously population growth comes in and Florida is a popular state to move to anyway, but the numbers overall just look wild to me.

If ***** won legit I don't really care at all. Just was asking the question as far as what ***** voters were seeing in their communities. Obviously his base is heavy in urban areas and I am really surprised to see those areas turn out above ***** levels in some key states. He crushed Hillary in a lot of them, and wouldn't have been surprised to see ***** beat Hillary in those spots. But I didn't really get that sense that ***** would outperform by those margins in the urban centers.

The biggest 'joke' numbers btw imo are in Atlanta. That sh.it just looks like a mess man. Unless every person there came out to vote lol. He is getting like 600k more in GA than Hillary did, and maybe 3/4ths of that gain is in Atlanta area. Some stuff just doesn't look authentic which sucks because it would be nice to have an election where there is a general consensus and we move on.

Guess we will see how it all pans out

Work around people, man. Nobody likes our current situation. Only makes sense everybody wants change. Lot of nervous energy.

Appreciate your replies. Not really trying to get into a whole back and forth on it. Just was curious about what ***** type voters were seeing this year vs 2016. Again more because I'm curious from a numbers perspective rather than a political one.

With Trump growing his numbers by 8 million, that's just the head-scratching thing to me. Didn't know if he would keep steady at his 2016 numbers in which case, I could have definitely seen ***** winning and would have even predicted a ***** win. If Trump improved a little bit, maybe a few million (60k average in each state), I could have seen a really tight race.

Just the both growing their numbers so greatly is the main odd thing to me.
