Canadian customers have a range of different online casinos and sportsbooks to choose from, and this week I’ve been testing Wild Winz which recently appeared on my radar due to talk of its excellent live casino and slot variety.

I think both of these welcome bonuses are pretty good. I decided to go for the live casino bonus, as I typically stick to live blackjack and baccarat, but the casino/bonus spin deal is also great. The wagering requirements could be lower, and I would like it if they gave you a little more time to meet them, but overall, these are both solid welcome bonuses for new Canadian customers.

As part of this Wild Winz review I looked at the usability of the website and checked if there was a mobile app Canadian players could download. I had a decent time with the site, and I think it’s one of the better-designed casinos available.
The desktop website usability is incredibly straightforward. I don’t think any Canadian customers will struggle with navigating through the site and searching for games. It uses a simple primary pop-out navigation on the left-hand side and this has links to the slots, live casino, and promotions. Everything is accessible within a few clicks which is a sign of a well-designed website.
In terms of style and design, I think Wild Winz looks great. It’s got a simplistic black, white, and green color scheme, but I like this as it makes the background and text contrast perfectly. There is the use of graphics for the headers and scrolling news tickets, but these all look great and match the overall style and theme of the website.
The mobile app was a strange one - I did find a mobile app on the Play Store, but it was for a different company and not this Wild Winz Casino. Therefore, your only option is to access the casino from your mobile browser. I tested the site with Google Chrome on my Samsung Galaxy s23 and it worked perfectly.
I didn’t notice any difference in loading times between the mobile and desktop versions, and the layout of the mobile site is also responsive. The different features and menus shrink to fit on your screen and it’s still easy to use. I advise only playing here using a WiFi connection though - particularly if you are playing live games - as they can eat through your data. When testing the games, most of the developers have optimized versions for smartphones, and the loading times were excellent.
When I signed up with Wild Winz and made my first deposit, I was able to choose from Interac, Mastercard, or Visa. I know this is a limited selection, but the minimum deposit and withdrawal limits were great at just 10 CAD, and I found the banking process to be smooth. For withdrawals, the average processing time is 3-5 business days, which could be better.
From what I can see, the Wild Winz customer support is available 24/7 and there are a couple of options available. I first tried the live chat which you can access by clicking the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the page. You are instantly connected with the AI chatbot and do not need to enter any details to start chatting.
I found the AI bot to be helpful, and on several occasions it was able to resolve my query without needing to speak to a support rep. However, you can connect to a rep if you don’t get what you want from the bot. There is also email support which operates between 10:00-19:00 UTC+2. I found that the response times for email were slower - typically 2+ hours, so I recommend using the live chat for anything urgent.
I only ever recommend that Canadians play at licensed online casinos. Without a gambling license, an online casino or sportsbook can essentially do what it wants, which doesn’t make it a great option.
