Is it a resurgence? The last 7 or so years have been exciting at Heavyweight.

Joshua, Fury, Wilder... a decent supporting cast with the likes of Parker, Joyce, Whyte, Ruiz, Povetkin, Ortiz, Zhang, Hrgovic, Dubois... and then the emergence of Usyk in the division.

The next few years look like we'll be all out of stars. Usyk and Fury will go soon. Wilder's pretty much gone. Joshua will have to carry the division on his own in terms of draw and even he only has a couple of years left. There's no real US Heavyweight in the mix.

Ruiz is missing from boxing and for good reason, maybe they should put up a category for eating yourself and pricing yourself out of contention and he would be number one on the list...................

I'm assuming the pricing out comment is a reference to the 'ordered' Ruiz v Wilder fight?

It was never ordered. No split, no deadline, no purse bid. The WBC were playing a game with that one.

How can two guys negotiate when the org provides zero basis to start negotiations?

August 3, in the US against Miller.

              Usyk
              Parker
              Zhang
              Joshua
              Fury

is my top 5 in that order.

Great article and summary on each fighter, and I by-and-large agree with the placement of each. Andy Ruiz doesn't merit discussion until he shows us that he's still a fighter and belongs in the mix.
