I think this one boiled down to styles and matchups. Barboza is a solid fighter and decent boxer but heavy footed and not the fastest hands. Teo can be outslicked but Sandor and Ortiz were more mobile and less mechanical than Barboza.

Teo looked good, not great...still saw flaws but he was able to get away with them against Barboza.

master class? lol. Was 8-4, he looked good but styled more than actually fought. Not like he beat up his opponent or anything just a good comfortable win. The glazing for this guy is unreal.

Boots dominates and stops the no. 1 contender and all you hear about is how he gets hit too much. Teofimo takes a close but clear win over the no. 1 contender and all you hear is how “he dominated,” not how sloppy his footwork or defence was. Interesting.

Teo wants Boots next up but he is not ready for Boots power and physicality. Having said that he delivered the only great performance of the night.

I'd never write Teo off. He's exceptional when he boxes to a game plan. Its when he goes in with no plan and thinks he can just take a fighters head off, that's when he struggles.

That's what he did with Kambosos. Kambosos is only very good when fighters come at him and he can trade combinations and punch between their shots. Teo played right into his best attributes because he had no plan.

a focused Teo with a plan is a different beast. I'd pick Boots for sure, but I'd never completely disregard a focused Teofimo that's worked on a good gameplan.

Barboza had just been getting by with help from the judges! He's very basic. Even though Teo won, the fight was closer than I thought. I thought Barboza was outclassed.

Teofimo looked pretty good ,but the days of him being a power puncher are long gone. I think that his KO's were reflective of the quality of opposition in his early career. I don't see him having much of a chance against Boots. Not any chance to be brutally honest.

If teos one punch KO power carried up to 140 then the boots fight would be somewhat interesting but as of right now yea not interested in seeing boots teo
