  • Otto looked a shell of himself against Chisora. He looked lethargic, unmotivated and it's bad when Chisora looks like the fresher fighter in the late rounds.

    At this point he would be an opponent for young, up and coming fighters. He can make some paydays but at what cost?...

  • They were supposed to fight October 2021 in Eddie's back garden but Whyte had a phantom shoulder injury that disappeared before the Fury fight. Eddie offered him Babic in the garden instead but Otto declined. He probably should have taken that fight....

  • I remember when he upset an undefeated Nick Webb and followed that up with a demolition of Lucas Browne...he was matched to beat Pricey and went into that one absolutely unmotivated (I think he blamed a back injury) and lethargic....

  • Definitely no hate. He's a good fighter but in many other eras or divisions, he probably wouldn't a belt holder. He was dropped and nearly beaten by Abel Ramos in his last fight....

  • I'm talking about the beginning of his career only. If I recall correctly, Boots' first promoter was Chris Middendorf (a Mid-Atlantic regional promoter) and that was after he turned pro. Davis was getting courted by the big promoters before stepping in the pro ring.

  • Top Rank backed Davis early and hyped him on undercards and used pretty savvy matchmaking. Fighting faded names or guys that would be incremental development fights. I always thought TR was pretty good at that.
