    ** Where's the poetry?

Might be time to put me back on ignore before your shorts git thee in a fatal twist and start you blasting out of both ends. It's usually pretty messy when you come on here, already at odds with a new contributor's list, blithely firing away in withering blither.

The purpose of the thread was discussion of the topic and to compile a comprehensive BS list which looks to need updating from new contributions.

Now, go swap out those crusty shorts with a freshly laundered pair and new bib and lessee if the poetry can return with a sunny disposition and some actual content relative to the subject being discussed.

Well! I see LRR wasted little time in responding. I'm not sure WHAT he's actually posted and really it doesn't matter: As I said I caught on to his act early and can usually take a good guess.

Just to give you an idea of this nimrod's total lack of credibility"

"If he didn't smoke like a chimney hadn't drank like a Irishman, Galento could've been the greatest heavy ever." - LondonRingRules

Now Galento was a good fighter but the potential to be the GREATEST EVER?????

"Terrell gave Ali a hard fight" - LondonRingRules

Now THIS is the ultimate torpedo to any credibility he has

This is the Earnie Terrell Ali CARRIED for 15 rounds so he could beat him up and ask "what's my name? what's my name? what's my name?" while he punished him. Terrell was NEVER in that fight and lasted the distance only because Ali ALLOWED him to last the distance because putting a hurt on Terrell was more important to Ali than getting the KO. The scores?

      Harry Kessler 137-148
      Ernie Taylor 137-148
      Jimmy Webb 133-148

That's 4-11, 4-11, 0-15 in rounds folks and the two judges that gave Earnie 4 rounds were being generous. Does that sound like a "hard" fight to you?

It should be clear to anyone with moderate or above-average intellect that LRR talks exclusively out of his ass and shouldn't be granted ANY credibility at all. He's a 24 karot ignoramous who wouldn't know a fact if it bit him on the ass (yes, the very ass that doubles as his mouth and acts as his intellectual nerve-center).

** Don't take much to dispatch the nattering nabobs of negativism.

Thusfar you've been too scared to enter the ring, prefering to talk trash in the shadows, hiding from those who can recognize nonsense instantly.

As I alluded to the purpose of the thread is comprehensive compilation of a top 10 heavies list and discussion of said topic. The list has been expanded by consensus to include a top 20 list.

Here's my nomination for top ten. Why don't you see if you can find a surviving snaggle tooth to pick some debris out of your noggin with it.

You can have a little show and tell, nay, praytell us what you find.

        1. Jack Johnson
        2. Jim Jeffries
        3. Bob Fitzsimmons
        4. Jack Dempsey
        5. James J. Corbett
        6. Joe Louis
        7. Sam Langford
        8. Gene Tunney
        9. Max Schmeling
        10. Rocky Marciano.

Totally disagree with your list, but we are all entitled to our opinion so I'm not gonna knock it. All great fighters in their own right.

I would like you though to give your reasons for each placement from 1-10 and your criteria used.

He HAS no criteria because he pulled it out of his ass like he does most things. Since you quoated him I can now see his text. He has a lot of nerve TRYING to lecture me on the purpose of this thread since I was one of the small group who contributed to it's foremation AND the criteria many used to rate the fighters. Quite frankly when I want his opinion I'll give it to him: He needs to leave the intellectual disussions to his betters and like the Village Idiot that he is he needs to be told to shut up and sit down.

            1. Jack Johnson

            2. Jim Jeffries - How does someone with 21 proffesional fights crack the top 5?

            3. Bob Fitzsimmons - Should be ranked at Middleweight NOT Heavyweight.

            4. Jack Dempsey

            5. James J. Corbett - A man with ONE victory over name opponent?

            6. Joe Louis

            7. Sam Langford - Should be ranked as a Welterweight.

            8. Gene Tunney - The man had all of SIX fights at Heavyweight and he makes the list? What's next? Michael Spinks cracking the top-ten?

            9. Max Schmeling - A very good fighter but his only important win came over a pre-prime Joe Louis.

            10. Rocky Marciano.

His list is a joke, so are his "opinions" (which, like *******s, the wrong people have them and they're all full of ****), and so his he: Both as a poster and a human being.

** Post your own top 10 list and we'll match them head to head, place to place.

Works much better than a onesided lecture by me.

So what your saying is whatever I post is wrong and then your gonna educate me. I never criticized your list just said I disagreed and already your talking about giving me a lecture when you haven't seen my list.

Or have I misinterpreted what you meant?

It's hard to believe nobody has picked up on the list yet.

Hello Yogi. If you have the time, would you mind posting in my new thread in this section? I'm making a new video and I'd love any expert contribution and opinion on it.
