      - -Henry already provided the simple truthful answer.

Sad that he's in his ancient years now and not voted in the IBHOF yet over the numerous scallywaggish they manage to shoehorn in every year.

I don’t know but wouldn’t it be better to just start your own thread about the subject and then attach his name to your post with a question since it’s 2021 ?
Hassup looks into the section and posts sporadically, even years apart at times...

Thanks for the tip on how to post.

Good list but should have kept dempsey first as he was a phenomenon

            - -Sugar a bighat and cigar vaudeville act the the eastern centric press who controlled boxing loved. As such sugar loved his little porkies like Pep winning a rd without throwing a punch.

Recall the orchestrated massive blizzard of letters Nat recieved after getting whooped by Frazier. They were trying to beat him into including Ali in his all time top ten that only Nat had as the author of the Ring bible.

By 1991 Sugar had been waylaid and mugged tens of thousands x over his list that we see as likely his last before death.

Alway been Joe Louis as #1 for me as he outstrips Ali in every important category from inception to end. That part is easily provable and otherwise inarguable.

But of course naysayers gonna neigh like the silly little fillies they be...forever more, forever more...

Well, this is Bert's list and he's a big Jack Dempsey fan so...

Tunney at #5? Charles in the top 10?

No Lewis or Holmes? Um, okay.

Sugar was dandy and a myth builder, nothing more. I don't miss him at all and never took anything he said seriously. His list is also idiotic. Joe Louis could not even make the top ten on a realistic list.

I couldn't take it seriously when I seen Charles and Tunney, but not Holmes or Lennox. Automatic disqualification lol
