I just think Canelo is too old. No stamina to go 12 with Benividas.
I’ll also add the FACT that Benividas has never been hit by a big puncher. That could be a BIG problem for Benividas. I’d like to see the fight. I KNOW Benividas is far more HUNGY.

While Canelo has experience, sharper punches, and a higher skill set, he’s not gonna be able to withstand someone as physical as Benavitez for a full 12 rds. Benavitez actually gets stronger as the bout goes on.

Canelo isn’t the huge power puncher people pretend he is. Yes he has power, but his fans exaggerate his punching power. Benavitez to me has more power and he has a higher work rate. Canelo isn’t as mean as he once was. Canelo fights in spurts he can’t go for a full 12 rds anymore. Canelo can’t dig down deep like he used to be able to. He’s gonna have to dig down deep against Benavitez and I don’t know if he’s gonna be able to do it.

A boxer like Benavitez forces you to work every minute of every round and that’ll take a lot out of you. His presence and stalking style is a lot for anyone to deal with. I see it as a fight of 2 halves. The first half will be Canelo banking rds, and the 2nd half will be Benavitez slowly but surely getting to Canelo and breaking him down.

50/50 fight Canelo can't ignore Benavidez now. I want to see how Benavidez reacts when Canelo touches that body. Canelo hits harder than Andrade and Plant. this is a mega-fight now! The money is there and I believe Canelo will take it.

Benavidez is big, tall, fast and quite skillful. He also has the Mexicano heart of coming forward and not giving up mentality warrior minded.

He will bring the fight to Canelo and will continously pressure him relentlessly. Why I think he would give Canelo problems is his pressure and will Canelo be able to handle it and take it well?

Bivol is not a hard puncher, I agree DB has never been hit as hard as Canelo will hit him, its a shootout fight both guys are aggressive, I think Canelo has a really good shot at winning, if DB handles his power with no problems then Canel is in trouble, so far Canelo has hurt pretty much all he landed solid on.

I hope the fight happens soon its going to build up to a mega-fight.

That is what I think. Benavidez is nowhere near Mayweather or Bivol or Lara style. he is a sitting duck and Canelo loves that.
