    Win over Alvarez boosts profile

Bivol went from random Asian out of Russia to internationally known

I believe the Alvarez boost would be bigger for Benavidez who’s Mexican-American
    - - Bena vs Canelo for Bena's WBC title is the biggest fight out there, but Canelo is planning retirement after a very long career and may be playing losing hand if he don't make the fight soon.

Keyshawn Davis seems to be making some noise and might be able to fill in the spot with some notable wins...

Alvarez could fight Benavidez after Bivol beats him first

Alvarez has been shameless in his opponent selection

If Americans cared about the lower weight divisions it would be Bam Rodriguez.

            featherweight to 175 for me

shorter than 5 ft 6 hard to watch unless ridiculously good like Naoya

not crazy about pure power boxing we often see at heavyweight either

I like your opinions, but be honest, canelo will never fight anybody dangerous ever again.

Canelo found his level in Bivol fight. He will never go anywhere near Bivol ever again and he won`t fight Benavidez.

Canelo is on cash out Saudi tour. He will fight Scull, Crawford, than probably Eubank - Benn winner, the forth fight could be somebody like Mbilli. Than he retires.

Shakur Stevenson imo. 135 is a stacked division and if he could win against Tank and Loma that would significantly boost his profile. He had all the talent and ability to be P4P no. 1 and while his style isn't all too fan-friendly for casual viewers I do think that if he keeps winning at the top level then he'll continue to grow in popularity. He just needs to learn how to see himself outside of the ring like Floyd could.

                    levels though

I believe Alvarez is a level or 1.5 levels better than Bena

                    Bivol is great

Alvarez is in the shallow end of greatness. Bena is very good

Bena won’t seem dangerous if he gets 10-2’d or 9-3’d by Bivol!

Alvarez the better fighter too. All of that should give him confidence to make the highest paying fight

You're right about Shakur, he gets a lot of hate but the man is extremely talented. I believe the reason he holds back is because of his hand problems and that could be helped with a better hand wrapper, the way Floyd fixed his hand issues when he hired Rafael Garcia to wrap his hands.

With a better hand wrapper, Shakur would let go of his hands more often and get KOs and TKOs. Like you said, wins against Tank and Loma would significantly boost his profile!
