Is Allen coming in fat or did he put on muscle?

Disappointing to see Dave Allen has piled on the pounds for this one. He has a history of not taking his preparations seriously. Yes, he was robbed by the judges last time. But this time it's his gluttony that will rob him of the victory. To be a winner in this game you do need to commit to the sport with conviction. Dave isn't that guy though. Fisher should get the W very comfortably.

Agree with StB, power doesn’t come from weight, it comes from speed, leverage and timing and Allen doesn’t have any of those things. Come round 6 he is going to wish he trained harder. It is a cliche because it is true, you train hard to make the fight easy.

It is possible that Allen has weighed in deliberately heavy to lull Fisher into a sense of false security, but that doesn’t seem likely.

We get this debate every time the heavyweights weigh in.

Andy Ruiz was wearing a heavy sombrero. Fury had weights in his leather jacket or came in deliberately heavy.

It always means the same thing though. They're out of shape.
