Self-defense, yes. Boxing, not so much. But it would be a good idea as an after school activity in rough neighbourhoods.

      I certainly do.
I beleive that inherent benefits derived from boxing, for those who express interest in learning, offset any physical danger posed.

Boxing is only about 35% of a full course of most effective hand to hand combat technique, but the grappling aspects may be interpreted as ******ation, and are not aligned with an objective of teaching & supporting masulinity, effective as those techniques might be.
The femination of what is perceived as appropriate social behavior has grave consequences; as do many resistances against nature.

High schools have wrestling teams. They could have boxing teams too.

Three, 2-minute rounds with headgear. Imagine earning a letterman jacket from boxing. The girls would be all over you.

Boxing could be a great outlet for them.

Get them working out hard, with calisthenics and the bags and roadwork. Plus some sparring. All leading up to an actual fight as part of their school team.

They won’t have time to be gloomy, depressed, suicidal emos.

No. Have you spoken with kids nowadays? They 100% thrive off ego and "aura".....they should not be throwing punches at one another because it will just carry out into the hallway.

Kids should be focusing on reading skills since they can barely do that.

I brought this up in high school, the football coach loved the idea, I am sure admins would kill it though.
