To be effective, Taylor needs two things: he needs to be hungry and he needs a specific kind of opponent. He hasn't been hungry for a while, and he did not get the right opponents, thus the loses in his 3 last fights. And many think he should hang em up. He's had a good run, made lots of money, but at 34, moving up, don't know exactly where he is going. But probably not very far..

        1. Prograis 2. Postol 3. Ramirez 4. Baranchyk

        In that order for me.

I think Prograis #1 Then beating Postol (who I consider a better boxer than the very limited Ramirez) in only his 12th fight was more impressive plus I felt Postol actually edged Ramirez when they fought.

In recent years, Taylor has been treated as a third-rate fighter. This bothers me, because his record speaks for itself. He and Prograis were great fighters, but father time is cruel. Or maybe he lacks that hunger to win (I think the time factor applies more to Prograis), and at this point it may be too late to regain that hunger at 34 years old.

Taylor had an amazing tear through 140lbs – the drop off in quality hurt his legacy, and his actions after the highly debatable Catteral fight hurt his reputation.

The amount of unbeaten, highly rated contenders and world champions he fought back to back was incredible. The six opponents he fought leading up to facing Teofimo Lopez had a combined record of 133–0.

That's plain crazy in this day and age of protected fighters.
