We don't get constant articles about Bakhodir Jalolov stepping up and he's ten years older than Itauma and a double Olympian.
That is really weird how Jalolov after two Olympic gold medals and a bunch of professional fights is still not fighting anyone with a pulse. What are they waiting for?

The kid looks to be very talented. But I wouldn't rush him to quick and throw him into the top escelance of the division to soon. Ofc he's gonna have to step it up but he can be moved correctly and I think in a year or two if he continues the way he has been looking then you can put him in with anyone you want but as of now he needs a few tests. I think after his next fight then a European title fight or a Dillian Whyte fight in September/October could be the call

Kid is only 20 or something, he still has the time to develop slowly.

Why don`t we get the same articles about Jalolov?

But Intauma will need opponents that can give him rounds. Balogun is not that level.

Itauma should fight somebody like Wallin.

This is the one prospect that I am most interested in. Note that all of the boxers, current and retired, are saying that he is really special.
I like the subtle head movements, the speed, and the sound footwork. With how much a zero has become lord, I imagine them moving him glacially slow

No way Top Rank will allow Anderson to take another Lost specially to another young prospect. In the 80s/90s a couple Ls wouldnt hurt your brand but now a days the casuals all anyone with 5 loses a bum. He will get protected. Miller should had been banned. Either way Miller isn't a bad fight.

Top Rank will baby Jared Anderson until they have to force him to fight another live body.

Moses Ituama looks like he has those Rid**** Bowe type genetics, but does he have the skill for skill boxing ability of Bowe 'For all we know he could be at his absolute physiological peak now. And he may be inclined to get badly out of condition in-between fights. Thus far in his career he has proven that he has solid power, and aptitude for violence. But he has not really had his overall conditioning tested, or been in a fight situation where he has needed to display overall game'.

So in my opinion his team need to strike while he is hot 'I see people making the point that, Ituama did not have an extensive amateur career. Well that is his fault? There was nothing stopping him from staying in the amateurs, and if he was good enough? He could have duplicated what Anthony Joshua achieved in the amateur ranks, and become the Olympic Champion'.

Frank Warren's expertise has always been in developing and at times rebuilding fighters 'Moses Ituama needs to be in a fight situation, where he is pushed over the distance. I think a potentially great fight, which can be made is Moses Ituama vs Joe Joyce'.

Note: Although Joe Joyce has not been winning his recent fights 'He has been still a mighty struggle for his opponents to overcome. Both Derek Chisora and Filip Hrgovic came out of their contests against Joyce, knowing that had been in serious fight. I think beating a solid version of Joyce, would be a litmus test for certain aspects of Ituama's game'.

To conclude: A fighter is only ready for World level 'When they fight at World level and win. You don't prepare for World level, by not competing at that level. So the methodology of not putting this guy in high level fights, is not really going to aid in his development as a fighter'.

This next coming 12 to 15 months will reveal a lot about Moses Ituama's ability in comparison to the other top level heavyweight fighters 'At some point if his team think he is good enough, they will move him up through the levels in the game. Within British boxing there is no lack of Heavyweight fighters, which would all want to fight Ituama for the opportunity to propel or respark their careers. Joe Joyce, Dillian Whyte, Dave Allen, I think those fighters would all be game to fight Ituama if the fight was a big enough opportunity for them' etc.

The answer is "when he's ready".

He lacks experience. His career could be derailed by fighting an experienced head right now. Even stepping up and winning will put him in a tough position - you can't step up and then go back down again.

So we'll just have to be patient. If he's good enough, he'll get there.
