I have to agree here---they wanted to weaken Cotto a bit. That's not suprising.

Olympic-style drug testing, they do urine tests. I have no problem with that," Roach said.

We all know, or atleast we should, that not everything that runs in the blood stream can be tested via a urine test. Roach is acting like he doesn't know that steroids are sophisticated these days and you can't just trace them in urine. Why agree to these test if there are things you don't want done in the testing.

These tests don't affect physical perfomance ability of an athlete. Pacquiao's mental state must not be that strong if he is affected by that type of test.
Some test even take a muscle tissue sample, it all depends what you're trying to get from the test.
you're totally right about that---it shouldn't affect a fighters' performance and it didn't when Pacquiao first fought Morales and Pacquiao had to take blood tests a few days before the fight--I just think that Pacquiao subscribes to the belief that the blood test somehow weakened him and it has screwed with this psyche ever since.

People he's still going to take the blood tests whether it be 6 six weeks before or right after the fight. Just relax.

I really should not even respond to your st*pidity. But really, Shane ain't seen PAC inject himself or take any pill orally. So there's no evidence.

We might as well go back to the days of every black person in this country is guilty because they're black, lmao
There was no point to it. What I said was that, "I think I heard" him say what he said...nothing more. And there was no response needed because it wasn't meant to be one. So leave your name calling wannabe boxing analyst self outside the door and keep your comments to a minimum.

roach did say he'll OK a blood test, just not within the last 6 weeks before the fight. first of all boxing is business, distant second is the chivalry of the fighters. now, this is one of the biggest fights in decades, and one should take as much territory as he can in the negotiating table. mental territory is just as important, so i guess roach is just trying stand his ground and let anyone push him around. i think that's fair.

logic. Pac "forced' cotto at 145, and cotto agreed. end of story. if PBF and Pac agree on 147 then they should come in at 147, as agreed. either of them going beyond that is clearly violating his part of the deal. why is roach being burned at the stake for this line of thinking?
