the hater is lazy and ******.

he covets the success of others, without having the means to achieve any success of his own.

    he "hates" because he fails.

What a dumb comment. Regardless of what shiming does china is now exposed to boxing and that's what matters. Boxing will inspire more Chinese to compete in this sport and also a lot of Chinese viewers will know more about boxers in the states and possibly become fans.

Very true. Once a hater, always a hater.

Imagine if you could get a 100,000 attendance at a boxing fight they would be something extraordinary. China is the place to do it.

          Great for boxing!

I could go to 100 people and maybe 1 would have a clue what snooker was and even that person would only know it is a billiards type game not what it actually involved.
              Read what it actually says.

Western sports that claim a strong following in China like snooker and basketball aren't pulling numbers close to this. Snooker finals have pulled around 110 million while a major basketball match between China and the US pulled 187 million. Boxing is also the top sport story on most Chinese websites.

So you consider a snooker a sport? I would consider snooker a game~

Not comparable to boxing or basketball~

They never had any amateurs till recently, just wasn't on their radar. This guy has a very amateur style, is old, and kinda on a downswing. He was unimpressive in every fight in last olympics, not sure he won any of them fair. But they're not all the same style, their heavier guys were sluggers iirc
