Comments Thread For: Mikey Garcia Aims To Impress: I Know I Can Do More

Mikey Garcia (32-0, 27KOs) is hoping to secure his second world title in a second weight class when he faces WBO Super Featherweight champion Roman Rocky?Martinez (27-1-2, 16KOs) this Saturday night at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX.

Garcia has looked dominant throughout his career and the hard hitting 25 year old has stopped 9 of his last 10 recent opponents. Even a fighter like Orlando Salido who was supposed to be a tough test for Garcia tasted the canvas repeatedly and was non competitive in their bout.

Mikey's wise in not taking Rocky lightly. Rocky is a strong man that comes well prepared and isn't going to lay down. He's world champ for a reason. Best of luck to both and hopefully neither get's hurt.

Can't say i agree. Mickey would have to look worse than I ever seen him to lose this fight. Burgos was ripped of in that draw. I expect Mickey to stop him within 6. And truthfully I'm not all that high on Mickey either. Hes never been hit. Fortuna would have been a great fight or even Franco
