I think he thinks its a lose lose situation. He is fighting a dangerous fighter and if he does not dominate Pac people will be disappointed because of what Marquez did.
Floyd doesn't and never has had any excuse to avoid Pacquaio. In 2009, it was Pacqauio who turned the fight down over drug testing. In 2012 when Floyd tried to make the fight again, it was Bob Arum who told Richard Schafer that he was not interested in making the fight because he wanted to stage Pacquaio/Marquez IV and then made excuses about meeting with investors and needing to build a temporary stadium. It is also Bob Arum who continues to force his fighters to only fight those fighters who are within the Top Rank stable. The fight will never be made and it won't be made because of anything that Floyd said or anything that Pacquaio does. It won't be made because Bob Arum doesn't want to make it.

People like you always tend to ignore the facts so that you can criticize Mayweather when you write your daily dose of nonsense about how Mayweather is scared of Pacquaio.

What is wrong with Pac fighting Danny Garcia or Devon Alexander or Guerrerro or a quality fight at 140-147 that is not within Top Rank's stable? The answer is there is nothing wrong with it. But those fights will never be made for the same reason that Mayweather/Pacquiao will never be made -- because Bob Arum doesn't want them made.

Mayweather is the most powerful athelete in all of sports. Are you saying he couldnt make this fight happen? He does what he wants...period!!!

He's not scared though, no, it's something else
When was Mayweather/Khan signed or even announced as Mayweather's next fight because I don't remember reading about it? Obviously, neither have you and you are spouting the same type of idiotic nonsense that you spouted when a rumor was floating around a few years ago that Mayweather was going to fight Malignaggi.

Pac can knock out both Bradley and Marquez and Arum will turn around and make Pacquaio/Marquez VI or Pac/Bradley III because he simply does not want to make a fight with Mayweather. He has made that very clear since 2009, but dumbass'es like you continue to ignore the sh.t you are stepping in and continue to pretend it is a bunch of rose petals.

He can't make the fight happen if the opposing promoter refuses to agree to it. Being the most highly paid athlete in sports does not give you the power to walk on water or turn water into wine.

Arum is the most powerful promoter in boxing. If he wants certain fights to happen, they'll get made faster than you can say, "Top Rank". The problem is control, and both Mayweather and Arum wants to be the one to control the terms and neither of them wants to compromise.

Becuase Arum would never let Pac fight Mayweather as current WBO champion too much to loose.
