Kelly Pavlik was supposed to have a pretrial hearing Friday morning on minor criminal charges, but Pavlik “made a grunting noise and then collapsed” in the courtroom before the hearing could begin, according to the Youngstown (Ohio) Vindicator.

Pavlik allegedly refused to pay a taxi driver $25 after a ride home from an Ohio bar in September. He is facing one count of theft of less than $1,000.

I don't think it was ever well publicized, but seizures is the reason Pavlik gave for retiring. The first time was a week after Ward pulled out. I don't think it has anything to do with alcohol. The man was hit on the head for many years.

its a combo of alc and sleeping meds. not being hit in the head. Hes taken a lot of punishment but nothing compared to the old days of boxing, they never got seaizures, they just got punchy.

The only punchy dude these days is toney and he's probably fought/sparred every day of his life since he was 13 lol

I never understood Pavlik because in all his post fight interviews he seems like the most down to earth levelheaded guy in the world but then he's always quoted with crazy stuff and getting into crazy trouble. You think where's the guy from the post fight interview? Where did that guy go?
