Al haymon and Bernard Hopkins are friends, they have a secret business relationship.
Hopkins wants to become lineal champ by beating Stevenson/kovalev winner.
Stevenson did not want to risk a Hopkins fight by fighting kovalev.
It's not a money thing, hbo offered an amount stevensons promoter and lawyer agreed to.
It's al haymon whispering in stevensons ear how much he could earn in a Hopkins fight.
Al haymon staff member Sam Watson has been seen with Stevenson in gbp fights long before al haymon signed him.


Now where we stand:

Kovalev fights some more bums and then pascal, cloud until ward is done fighting 1 or 2 fights at super middle
If lawsuit fails, Stevenson fights fonfara then Hopkins, loses to Hopkins and Hopkins vacates........ Meaning Stevenson goes back to hbo to fight kovalev for vacant lineal crown which can only be contested by number 1 and 2.

I dislike Stevenson as a person because he's a loud mouth, twitter troll who worked in underage *** slavery and is clearly still a total knob and I want to see him get beat for those reasons.

I like Kovalev cause he seems like a cool, humble dude who does the majority of his talking (forgive the cliche) in the ring - but I can appreciate that they're both great fighters and I just want to see the fight made.
