    BEST CHIN
Chavez: “Chavez had a good chin. He took all those punches and not for nothing is he considered the best Mexican world champion. I remember Soberanes, he was not a champion. I landed my best punches and he laughed at it; it was very frustrating for me. He didn’t seem to be affected. I had to land combinations and stopped him with the accumulation [of shots] and not one big punch.”
It sounded like he thought he finished JCC

        Lovemore Ndou - March 2024

        BEST JAB
        Paulie Malignaggi
: “I would have to pick Paulie Malignaggi. He was very slick with his jab.”

        BEST DEFENSE
        Junior Witter
: “He was very elusive with a very unusual fighting style.”

        BEST HAND SPEED
        Canelo Alvarez
: “It seems he keeps improving with every fight. He is also a great counterpuncher.”

        BEST FOOTWORK
        Alvarez
: “He moves very well in the ring, and that’s what makes him so dangerous.”

        SMARTEST
        Alvarez
: “I found Canelo Alvarez and Miguel Cotto very smart in the ring. Canelo slightly edges it.”

        STRONGEST
        Miguel Cotto:
“I would have to go with Miguel Cotto. I would also say Alvarez, but when I fought Alvarez, I was just a little guy coming up against a big fighter. The fight was at junior middleweight, but I was only a junior welterweight that went up in weight to fight him because the purse was good. Cotto, on the other hand, was a legit junior welterweight when I fought him but strong as a bull.”

        BEST PUNCHER
        Jose Luis Juarez
: “He is the first boxer to ever drop me fairly. I recall getting up and referee Marty Denkin was on the seven count. It was towards the end of Round 9, and when I got up, I held onto him like I was going to fornicate with him until the bell went.”

        BEST CHIN
        Daomai Sithkodom
: “A Thai fighter I fought in Australia. I hit him with everything I had, but he wouldn’t go down.”

        BEST BOXING SKILLS
        Canelo:
“Canelo and Cotto are the best-skilled fighters I have fought. Canelo slightly edges this one. His record and achievements in boxing speak for themselves.”

        BEST OVERALL
        Canelo/Cotto
: “I’m sorry, I cannot pick one. I would have to go with Canelo and Cotto. It’s a tie. Both of them are great fighters I have immense respect for, with exceptional skills. They both could box and brawl, which made them the best overall. I can only judge their greatness by their performance against each other, but not by how they performed against me. Alvarez beat Cotto in one of the most beguiling spectacles: two boxers with equal measures of class and artistry. You make your own judgment.”

            Shannon Briggs - June 2024

            BEST JAB
George Foreman: “The greatest jab that I felt right in my face, every time, that wouldn’t miss, was George Foreman. It wasn’t the fastest jab, but it was very accurate and I couldn’t get away from it sometimes. (laughs) Lennox was a tough jab to get away [from]; he had an accurate, strong jab. Ray Mercer (August 2005) had an accurate jab. It hurt. It was like a right hand.”

            BEST DEFENSE
Sultan Ibragimov: “Couldn’t catch him. He was moving a lot.”

            BEST FOOTWORK
            Foreman
: “That would have to be George. He was so calm and relaxed. He knew where he was at in the ring, and he could cut the ring off and step around pretty good.”

            BEST HANDSPEED
Frans Botha: “He didn’t seem that fast, but Francois Botha, he had very deceiving speed.”

            SMARTEST
Foreman: “I’m going back to George, and Sultan Ibragimov was a pretty slick fighter – stayed away, was smart – but I would say George.”

            STRONGEST
Lennox Lewis: “I’d probably say Lennox. He was solid. When I grabbed him in a clinch in the first round, it was like hugging a building. I couldn’t believe it. He wasn’t moving back, he was so strong. George was strong, too. He was planted.”

            BEST CHIN
Foreman: “I hit Botha with some bombs and he stood up. George took a helluva shot. I was young, I was 25, I was cracking. He was pretty swollen after the fight. I would give it to George.”

            BEST PUNCHER
Lewis: “I fought some punchers! So many vicious punchers that make you say, ‘Wow!’ Ibragimov, little guy but hit pretty hard, he could knock any man out. Botha was a very hard puncher. Ray Mercer hit hard and Vitali Klitschko – let’s not forget Klitschko. He hit me one time so hard I didn’t know where I was at. (laughs) I would say Lennox Lewis – that right hand would kill anybody.”

            BEST BOXING SKILLS
Lewis: “He could jab, he could move, he was smart, he knew when to fight.”

            BEST OVERALL
Lewis: “Lennox and George. Ray Mercer was incredible, Botha was tough. I’d say Lennox Lewis, one of the greats. One of the greatest heavyweights of all time.”

              STRONGEST
Beterbiev: “You have to see him training every day to understand where this strength comes from. I think it’s several factors. First, it’s genetics and technique, but above all a series of physical exercises that Artur has been practicing now for a very long time. He is No. 1 in the whole industry in this department.”
Beterbiev should do an instructional video on his series of physical exercises once he retires. Whatever he does it makes him solid and strong as hell.

I don’t have an Instagram account but might have to look into getting one.

He does a lot of forearm work TBH, moreso than I've seen any other pro fighters do. One he holds the 45lb olympic bar in the middle and spins it like a fking baton. It's wild. Another he does jumping pushups but each leap he alternates between holding himself up by his fingers, to his fists, to the back of his hands.

He posts exercises and details, make sure you expand on the text because he posts it in russian AND english, but if you don't click on "see more" it looks like his posts are only in Russian.
