Floyd Mayweather nuthuggers just can't take the fact that the Mexicans would rather watch an entertaining fight instead of Kenny Bayless protecting Floyd for 12 rounds from any inside action.

If Oscar is serious about taking that date back for canelo/cotto, no way in hell that mayweather tries to go head to head with them..unless it's with pac...that's the only possible way. Fact remains that you got the two most popular Hispanic fighters fighting on a Mexican holiday...there are millions of casual Hispanic fans...who do you think their going to watch on that day? What a lot of you don't realize here is that, to the hispanics, this is their "Mayweather vs pacqiao". This is a huge event...certainly will be a bigger event than mayweather vs anyone not named pac. I highly doubt that SHO will allow that to happen, knowing their numbers will drop if they do that.

Oscar makes more money off Canelo than he gets from licensing in a Floyd fight, so yeah he's going after the Cinco de Mayo. Even if Canelo has underwhelming numbers for his fight if they both fight on the same night, its still numbers he takes away from Floyd whether it's 1 or 500k, it's still bad for Showtime and Floyd. For however millions Floyd is guaranteed per fight Showtime isn't going to risk losing more money putting on an event.

I believe Oscar can do this, depending on his mood swings. Remember, unlike Bob Arum who thinks logically 99.9% every time. Oscar on the other hand is a little bit sicko; --so the idea of taking sinco de mayo from floyd no matter what the cost to him isn't very far fetch at all.

I do agree, Mayweather needs Pac period, if he steps up there with anything else, shorter than Gennady Glovokin, dude is toast.
