Nigel Benn, the legend who put highly-touted Gerald Mcclennan into a coma and tragically disabled him for life, says that Floyd will avoid Khan because of his style and speed - he says Floyd will fight Manny because it's an easier fight where the fighter tends to come forward instead of the more measured defensive style that Khan has now adopted. Benn states, matter-of-factly, that Khan will beat Mayweather if they ever fight - straight out the mouth of a boxing legend.

just what khan wants us all to be saying. honestly always said he was low on merit and still is but thought that possibly other than pac khan is def the worst style match up for floyd as anyone else with eyes has probably also noticed....

How can you be ready to Floyd when you're fighting someone's leftover, leftovers? At least Kell fought the guy who beat Alexander lately, he was what 3 or 4th? Somehow Khan is ready for a Floyd fight? He is supposed to look good getting fed scraps like that, he still fought a JWW at WW. That actually sounds like the exact resume to need to face Floyd. B class fighter matched with a C class fighter so it fools people into thinking Khan can hang with not an A level, an elite fighter. Floyd just needs his first KO win since Hatton and Khan is really the only guy with a bad enough chin to get KO'd by Floyd.

I don't understand how people think this. The things Khan does that would give Mayweather trouble, Pacquiao does as well but much better. Khan is bigger, but he isn't as smart or crafty as Pacquiao and that usually matters much more.

pac is much harder. pac is just as fast if not faster, quicker footwork, hits harder, more explosive with his combinations and movement, better angles, and is a southpaw.
all khan has is being a bit more rangier.

Benn is just a blind nationalistic fool. Some people are so quick to forget the past when a guy looks good against the right opponent. Khan is still the same wild, jumpy fighter with no real defensive skills, no timing, and no strategy in his game. Mayweather is the greatest and smartest boxer of our generation and Khan has absolutely no chance against him.
