I think Andre Dirrell would be a good fight. Dirrell is skilled and he performed well enough against DeGale, if he wasn't dropped twice in round 2 the fight would be extremely close.

Plus Ward doesn't have the same power as DeGale, so Ward against Andre Dirrell would be a real chess match since multiple knockdowns are less likely than DeGale-Dirrell. Dirrell didn't lose very widely to DeGale, so he'd be a credible opponent for Ward and if Dirrell wins he gets Ward's WBA title plus an awful lot of recognition.

The winner of the Degale vs Groves/Jack fights would be the best opponent at 168.

If he keeps going up to LHW then I dont mind if he takes a weaker top 10 guy. Jumps in weight become pretty tough once you get past middleweight

Noway, Anthony Dirrell is one dimensional and unimaginative and was the weakest champ in the division. Andre is quick but there is nothing else to his came.

The guys you listed above that are all reasonable opponents with Stevenson and Kovalev being the stand out names, especially considering Ward was fighting as a light heavyweight anyway, so no reason and no excuse for not fighting those guys if weight is/was the supposed issue.

That hasn't really helped him much lol 19 months and millions of dollars lost as well as missing out on several big fights. Plus that performance against pot belly smith won't have nay one quaking in their boots.
