    Loeffler Lying - Only Canelo has to fight Golovkin next if he beats Khan!

    Loeffler is putting unnecessary pressure on the Khan camp, lying to the media that if Khan wins, he will have to face Golovkin next or vacate. The only agreement that Loeffler has is that Canelo must face Golovkin at the 160lb limit after his voluntary defence, which in this case is Amir Khan.

    If Khan wins, he can choose to:
    1) Have a voluntary defence at 155lbs, and then fight Golovkin at 160lbs ..or
    2) Take a voluntary defence at 155lbs, then unify with either Billy Joe Saunders or Danny Jacobs (or whoever holds their titles at that moment in time) at any weight both parties agree to, and then fight Golovkin at the 160lb limit.

    So Khan can easily push the Golovkin fight into mid to late 2017, if he is to beat Canelo. Also, Khan can even even make Golovkin come over to the UK, and fight on British soil with British judges.

    yawn....actually Loeffler is correct at this time. Where is your information supporting the assertion that Khan is even entitled to a voluntary defense?

    also, since Danny Jacobs is a secondary titlist (WBA regular champ), that would not be considered a unification bout by any sanctioning organization. So scratch that one.

    Khan could possibly get away w/ unifying with BJS before GGG as that is a true unification fight

              Whoever wins won't have to face ggg. We all know this. . Anyone holding out hope is in denial. Either they'll ask for a crazy demand or ggg will accept another fee to step aside.

                Where did you get this from? The agreement Golovkin has is not only with Golden Boy/Canelo it's with the WBC.

                Not that I would ever expect Khan to fight Golvokin anyway, nor do I expect
                him to make it past round 5 against Canelo. Just sayin.

                    Loeffler is really not in position to make anybody do anything. All they can do is sit back and HOPE they get chosen next. Based on Oscar Recent Comment, it doesn't seem like they will be chosen next

                    Winner of Canelo vs Khan can easily drop the title and go 1 lbs down and fight for a Vacant 154 WBC Strap if Mayweather ever gives it up!
