What special treatment? Fighting on his own card is special treatment? Fighters fight on their the same card when you're building up to a fight. This fight doesn't need building. It's the biggest fight in boxing. There is no opponent out there for Canelo that people want to see him fight but GGG. -
Canelo wanting a fight with Golovkin seems inconsistent with him vacating the WBC belt. Canelo has had 6 months now of being MW champ to tell GBP that he wanted GGG. Instead, he said, here, I dont want the belt. You take it Gennady. Why would he suddenly say, Oh, I want Golovkin now after I just surrendered the title the other day?
Canelo needs to decide whether he wants to be a MW or a JMW. He has been fighting at this 155 limit for years now. To me it seems like hes ducking the best of both divisions. Time for Alvarez to man up and take a stand as either a MW or JMW.Comment

You know why so mny boxers move up 2 and 3 divisions during their careers? Because most of them make a name for themselves by beating up on smaller opponents. She's been beating up on smaller foes for years but is so massive, she can no longer make 154 and is afraid to fight people who are actually 1 weight class below where she should really be fighting (168). She so needs that weight advantage that she is pretending to be a 154 pound boxer even though she can't make that weight. Without a functional 15 pound weight advantage on fight night, she doesn't even feel confident enough to set foot in the ring.Comment

After 4 fights and a brutal knockout to end the 4th did we really need a 5th? The public wasn't demanding a 5th fight, only people who had a hard time dealing with the outcome of the 4th fight were. When Canelo fights Golovkin once, let alone 4 times he can get a pass for not fighting him again. Its hardly the same situation as this GGG/Canelo circus, Canelo and Oscar talked all kinds of **** then they turned and ran after their list of excuses ran dry. Canelo looks like an ******* right now and his popularity that is so important to him and so many others will take a hit because of this, most people wont support that garbage from a fighter.
