Comments Thread For: Golovkin-Eubank Moves Closer After 'Very Positive' Talks in London

Yes! Never thought I'd be so enthusiastic about a *meh* fight but I guess that says something about Golovkin's past comp. Even if it's only Eubank Jr, it's still a hell of a lot better than Dom Wade. Chris is scrappy and will at least put up a fight.

make one mandatory defense and you never let it go lmfao. What about Ward voluntarily fighting Alexander Brand? Thought so.

This should easily outdistance Thurman & Porter, the winner gets a voluntary and then we'll see if Fraudverez wants 2 step up 2 MW, NOT 155, 4 his opportunity...

Don't act so simple. I said I want to see him face better comp, which is what EVERY ggg fan should want as well. How about never fighting a good opponent, e-v-e-r. I think this is a good move and am happy for Genady.

You wanted to bring up Ward? Really? Shall we compare their resumes?? Ward's best is Carl Froch, Golovkin's best is Martin "never have, never will" Murrary.
GGG fights Chris Eubank this fall, maybe. Ward fights Sergey Kovalev in the winter.
Maybe next time you think twice before you pull the Ward card.

I like Eubanks. I think he's a talented kid, but doesn't have the experience to take on GGG.. GGG is trying to fight everyone in the MW division. It's unfortunate others don't want to take on the challenge..

You should probably go back to ESB, no?
