sorry Hops, but theres a BIG difference between one guy doing something as his first choice, and another guy doing something as a last resort......

Terry, all I have ever said is this.....

Golovkin is obviously a terrific fighter, and he is obviously the best middleweight on the planet..... but he is clearly EXTREMELY well-managed, and he is obviously subject to the exact same risk/reward decisions as every other fighter..... (the term "well-managed" has since been upgraded to "protected", enough-is-enough)

..... and I also said, avoiding Ward was a great decision..... I understand it, and I would have advised the exact same thing..... that does not throw Golovkin under a bus, he can still make his own way.....

..... that is ALL I have ever said, give or take..... so good luck calling Hopkins a hater for essentially saying the exact same thing.....

Would be a good statement if they didn't have only one name on GBP keeping them afloat and if he wasn't the guy in this topic. I can respect being smart business people but Hopkins popping all that shh like he's a neutral party in all this. You guys have one fighter keeping your company in black ink right now after Schaeffer gutted you, don't try to paint the sky blue when it's pouring shhh all over your boy. He should've handled that post fight situation better, the world would've moved on by now.

No need to attack me but it's actually worse. Brook is moving up full 13lbs not 8. Doesn't matter his walk around weight, he trains his body for 147. Megregor melted down too then fought at his walk around weight..................MMA to Boxing but requires same discipline. He will have same excuse as Khan when he wakes up though.

Why on earth would the guy who ran around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can "beat anyone from 154-168" totally refuse to negotiate on the weight with the SUPERSTARS Cotto and Canelo?


Golovkin should have fought BOTH those guys.

Bhop wasn't defending canelo or maybe he was but his statement was true. Makes it worse when GGG said Brook is to small, but now he is big. Can't defend that. If you can't find a Mw then u do like deontay and train and fight a weight class opponent. I think he lost time n money also but didn't scurry to fight a cruiser.
