Rooting for your people is fine. But if you start going against any fighter not your race and accusing other people as racists for rooting for their race fighters I just lol the whole time

Is it wrong to root for a fighter just because he is the same race or ethnicity?

In the late 1990s, Wlad was putting guys away faster than young Tyson in the late 1980s.
Not the current faded clinching leaning version of Klitschko though, he's now not so much fun to watch.

I honestly don't care if Whites root for Whites. Blacks root for Blacks. Latinos root for Latinos. Asians root for Asians. just be honest about the **** and don't deny it

I like Andre Ward cause he's White.
Ward's father was a White, Irish immigrant (and a boxer himself); that's right - Ward is the result of White penis entering black vagina...
Lol, who can claim Kell Brook, though? I have no idea what he is.

Usually the aggressive guy gets my vote, unless he walks straight in like an idiot. I mean, it can come down to several factors. Race is pretty much out the window. I can appreciate seeing a fighter of my ethnicity come up, but it all depends on who he is fighting etc. If you had Canelo-Trinidad, I'd be for Trinidad all day. Was a huge fan. If you had Canelo-De La Hoya, Canelo all day. I like Canelo, never liked DLH. When Chavez, Sr. fought Tszyu, I wanted Chavez, Sr. to win. At that point, no way he was going to, but I didn't root for Tszyu because he was white. If Fury-Wilder happened, I'd root for Fury, but I must say, it wouldn't be about race. It would be about Fury being more skilled and more entertaining and Wilder being nothing more than a right hand, IMO. So really, when it gets down to it, race doesn't factor in a lot, once you know the fighters. I doubt there are many white people out there who would rather watch a young Klitschko over a young Mike Tyson.

That was in 2005, I believe - and seemed to be the last time Wlad fought with reckless abandon.
I just like tall boxers who fight with a powerful jab, and use it to set up vicious combinations.

That's never crossed my mind. You can get two people of the same race who you like and hate. Hate broner like mayweather. To me it's more on the style of boxing and personality.
I don't think there's anything wrong with supporting 'one of your own.' Nothing wrong with wanting to see them win. Just don't agree when race is used as a form of hate to the other fighters and fans
