Since they're so awesome..let them stay in their own Country and get coached by their own...since they're so awesome.

Why would they need us inferior Americans?

You suspect and it's based off recent "revelations" (I don't even want to talk about politic stuff behind it - all big countries got caught with it at different points) and "since they were so good in Olympics, they're probably taking drugs" logic (well, if your last gold winner was 12 years ago somebody is supposed to win these prominent tournaments, I guess)

Even considering that, all these fighters you've mentioned getting tested in America at the end of the day

See, you even admit in your own message that it's just your assumption, you suspect it which means it's not the actual fact

I don't suspect anything, I state facts and it's a fact that Tyson was juicing - he said it himself, same with Shane Mosley - he admitted he was taking steroids. The list goes on

      That's the difference

Well, I'm giving these American fighters a shot, despite the fact that there's way more of them got caught taking drugs, so you probably will have to try that

Since you mentioned Lomachenko and Usyk, I suspect that according to you, Ukraine was sponsoring some drug programs as well? I guess the country is wealthy enough to pull off something like that. Or that **** with blaming Ukraine fighters for that is just your another assumption based off the "revelations" about Russia?

The talent pool is deep and many never turn pro but Golovkin in particular, has opened up a lot of doors in that regard. Every promoter is signing guys from that part of the world, looking to find the next Golovkin.

You can start with Russian boxers and name Roy Jones Jr. first
But you just said that 70% of ex-Soviet fighters don't turn pro. I have a much smaller pool of fighters to work with. Just the fact that we can play this game is bad for you.

                  Povetkin

why not try make it big in mother russia??

you complain about nationalist agenda, i think is very logical if u.s promotor or american fans support their own countrymen instead of foreigner. boxing is a sport and sport is usually very nationalist/race/tribal thing.

and is justified since american pro boxer talent roster itself is still the best in the world, they maybe got steamrolled in the amateur lately but with how good american boxing environment is those weaker amateur talents can still develop to be great boxers in the pro level.
