Andre Ward practices South Paw Stance.....

Kovalev's going to wreck this dude if he think turning south paw from time to time would benefit him. He's sitting in the train tracks against Kov's straight right hand, and would be killed by the Jab battle with his non-existent right hand.

If he does this he is getting KTFO

The only times Kovalev was in control were wen Ward went south paw. No idea why they can't watch the film and see the same thing. Going south paw kept Kovalev in the fight. Eliminate that and Ward wins 9-3.

I'm pretty sure Ward is naturally left handed, could have spent some time in his early years as a southpaw before more than likely being force to swap, similar thing happened a friend of mine, southpaw for a few years before being swapped to fighting orthodox. Could just be doing it to give off vibes that hes going to switch and then not - throw team Kov. of?

... Actually, Ward IS an "inverted southpaw"... but, because his badly injured right shoulder (since he was about 12), he is much weaker on his right side and can't step in (head down) as a southpaw...

            Isn't he naturally a southpaw?

            Anyway, better than Wilder's southpaw.

Honestly curious - what shoulder injury did he get?

I always thought he was an inverted southpaw for the same reasons as cotto/De la Hoya etc

... it was a the rotator cuff injury at the right shoulder that Ward suffered when about 12 of age... an injury that never properly healed -- hence Ward fighting in an "orthodox" stance...

I wonder is swrgei can KO ward. It would be hard, he's so cagey and illusive
